I will officially doing a wedding in Nauvoo the 20th of December.
Therefore I am going to try to setup a few more weddings that week in Nauvoo, Illinois.
This can include the surrounding region
Chicago
St louis
Etc!
I would love to stay for more time but unless I actively pursue weddings out there I know I’ll end up having weddings out here in Utah that week and I’ll end up not being about to go out there for very long.
Doing multiple weddings in the same area will also spell relief in travel costs for those wanting to hire me.
Prices start at $1500 for an all day wedding. A typical student package is discounted $400 and with digital rights + disc is $1350
This way we can discuss and keep in contact for now.
I don’t want to go having to make a list of ya’ll and stuff.

I’ll have a big screen so you can see the main computer at work.
I will spend let’s say about 60-90 (maybe less) going over my workflow and showing off absolutely everything about lightroom. We’ll then play around with our own stuff answering eachother’s questions.
We’ll be doing show and tell and giving eachother insights and sharing presets and techniques and stuff.
Towards the end i’m sure people can go when they want, but I’ll remain to the end to help and answer questions.
Disclaimer…
this doesn’t mean i think i know everything.
I just think we should be sharing our talents and I thought it would be fun.
Plus it’s much faster and effecient than helping people out individually all the time.
-This doesn’t include regular photoshop because… well that’s not what I’m good at.
Man I could put a whole bunch more of them on the blog to show off… but gotta stop somewhere. So you just need to go to the full gallery to see more. Walking around in a sea of people with kids and adults dressed up in a scenic location with festivities and the expectation from people that they’ll probably get their pictures taken is totally my element.

Hanging out with lots of other photographers is always a plus.
And I got to randomly see old friends I haven’t seen in many many a year.
This is only the second time I’ve been up Big Cottonwood Canyon.
The first time was on a film set at night in winter, so that probably doesn’t count.

I have set it up so the first 40 and then the first 80 are the ones that I prefer the most. So that way you don’t need to look at all of them.
We made 3 stops and throughout the canyon the fall colors were in various stages of brillance, but in most spots the trees were now devoid of leaves for the year… sad.

We didn’t have a lot of time for setup portraits between the ceremony and reception.
But that was just as well as they asked me to document and not be in their face too much.
I like that style anyway capture the emotions of the day.
The Engagements and Bridals were more about creation, this one was about capturing the feelings of the day.

The ring shots might have been forgotten if the best man hadn’t brought it to me before the ceremony.

Probably would have done it anyway while I waited. But I more and more I see how much the setting of their reception means to brides.
