I’ve always day dreamed about my engagement photos (I’m a girl . . . it was bound to happen at one point in my life) and every single time I imagine them they are all with funny faces or doing something funny like giving the guy a piggy back ride or something. This post makes me happy. I would’ve posted on it even if I weren’t trying to win JaG. Love. Love love love.

Love the last one, and the one of the girl kicking the guy. Just makes me laugh. It always makes Engagement sessions more fun when the couple can let loose and have some fun! JaG

Great set. I figured there had to be a number of these type of pics in the Jarvieverse. Love the shadow one as others have said. JaG

    Thanks!

I love these kinds of photos. They really show the personality of the couple. they may not make it on the official invite, but I love to see them in books or collages at the reception.

So — here’s my take: that’s what makes it love. I can be serious with all sorts of people. I can wax philosophical with many. I can talk work or motherhood or life goals and ambitions. But there’s only one person with whom I can do all of that — PLUS be as zany and gosh-awful silly (complete with totally un-funny puns) as I desire. And that’s what makes it a beautiful future.

Man, I’m cheesy. (JAG — also left a note on the Hagen entry, but I forgot to post it as JAG.)

I think the pics reflect the skill that it takes to make folks feel comfortable in front of the camera. I think those “soft skills” are just as important as the technical ones.

haha my favorite ( besides mine of course) is the one of the girl kicking his butt. so subtle, and so playful. plus it looks like it wasnt planned, just happened to catch it with your camera at just the right moment. adorable!

These make me smile! what a great thing to be able to catch these moments and remember them forever.

My Favorite is the one where they are just standing there holding there and and just looking serious. JaG

You sure have a talent for bringing people’s personality into the pictures. I think that’s my favorite thing about your photography JaG
