This was part of an early morning photowalk.
The same one mentioned in the previous post about photo things happening this week in Utah.
I had my handy dandy 14-24 lens out to get super duper close to the flowers. This was like a few inches from the flowers
To view them all… or view them in a better format check them out here
We got there about an hour before sunrise… but this was a while later when the sun actually rose.
This moose came up pretty darn close to our group. If I weren’t in a group of about 20 people I probably would have scampered away like a scared little school girl. But I figured I was faster than at least a couple of people.
Lanscapes up in that area is pretty stellar (See Below)
I got pretty sick and wasn’t able to go on the hike to secret lake… so I don’t have a lot of landscape pictures.
And of course all sorts of different kinds of Flowers (See Below)
Getting down underneath them was pretty cool

Awhile ago a friend of mine said that they ran into a moose in Provo Canyon. At the time I thought she was off her rocker, but I guess I’m wrong. Anyway, love the pics, wish I could have tagged along.
What a beautiful shoot. I take it getting up that early was worth it?
Gosh dang it I really wanted to go to this but had SOOOOOOO much stuff to get done. This makes me sad that I didn’t go. Absolutely lovely photos Scott!!
Dang! I’ve really noticed how you always keep a blue sky, even after the sun has risen. I’ve GOT to learn that trick! JaG
Those are all beautiful pictures. Too bad I’m not even close to being an early bird! I would love to get early morning shots like that.
Beautiful pics. Love the shots of the moose. JaG
These are so gorgeous! It makes me sad I didn’t go. I had to laugh at your scared little schoolgirl remark. You’re too funny.
