Today I attended the PhotowalkingUtah event

It seems that when fall hits I start to be more consistent attender of the photowalks… because things are a bit slower (thankfully)

The theme was LensBaby – everyone had the opportunity to borrow a lens baby and take pictures for a few hours.

I must admit I cheated and did half lensbaby half regular lens.
Lensbaby requires a lot more patience and time to get your shot and I was too often tempted by a really good shot and just grabbed the wide angle and snapped a few.

LensBaby can do some funky stuff with lens flares.
Yes I was using an off camera flash to spice things up.

I darkened the ugly roof of this ungly building enough that it looks like A Touch of Class is on top of the building.
Looks way better this way… to bad in actuality these nice cars are sitting in a totally ugly dusty garage.

This is a lens flare I’ve never encountered before!
