These are pictures from the first part of the wedding day while at the San Diego LDS Temple in La Jolla California

It was a bright sunny day with nice blue skies.
It was a cool April day. Lighting wasn’t easy but at least it wasn’t raining like the night before and the forecast said might be a possibility.
I got there early and was able to take some pictures of the temple itself… you can see the full gallery of those images here

I love that you got there early to get some pictures of the temple. Many photographers are not that generous with their time!
This Temple holds a special place in my heart and therefore seeing the pictures of it bring back a flood of memories. Capturing the Temple by itself just sets a great background for the couple and what thier wedding means to them.
Did you use anything other than existing light for the images of the couple in front of the temple… any reflectors? Any tips on how best to capture this kind of shot on such a bright, cloudless day?

Beautiful shots. Clearly, you have a better selection of lenses than I. I have been to the temple but I have never shot a wedding there. I need to go back.
