Because I have a wedding the 13th in Seattle
Update: I'm sure I'll be driving… I need little convincing
MY OPTION
I will either Fly there and be gone for 2-3 days
Or I will drive and be gone for 2-3 weeks

ROAD TRIP HIGHLIGHTS
If I drive I might take this route and have the opportunity to visit (possible)
8 National parks: (tetons, yellowstone, olympic, crater, redwoods, yosemite, zion, capitol reef)
13 Temples: (2 in idaho, 1 in montana, 2 in washington, 2 in oregon, 2 in california, 1 in nevada, 3 in utah)
Many Companies to discuss sponsoring and having a team at the +Photography Decathlon
WISHFUL THINKING
Yes I know what you're thinking… I obviously won't be able to fit all those things on the road trip… but a boy can dream right? I'll do as much as I can and adapt. I'll have much more time after Seattle than I will before.
MOST IMPORTANTLY
I'm free to be distracted from my course most importantly by small photo gigs and companies that want to do lunch and talk about… The Photography Decathlon
They will get first priority scheduling.

Fly there drive back!
Drive! So much more fun!
For having fun ,during the trip, go by car . For arriving quickly , go by airplane .
That would be a road trip of epic proportions. We got a couch in Springfield, Oregon if you need one.
Stop in Tacoma if you want. Cheap(er) hotels and lots of waterfront to photograph. We also have Study Gertie (google it) as a popular viewing spot.
Throw Mount Saint Helen's into the mix. The contrast between it and Rainier is amazing to see and photograph!
Definitely drive, it will be totally worth it! I lived in the Seattle area for over 20 years. If you have never been there you are in for a treat! So many great places to see and photograph, including Pike Market and along the waterfront. (For great fish and chips, be sure to stop at Ivar's seafood bar. They have awesome white chowder too…be sure to save some french fries to give to the gulls…trust me.) Pioneer square is pretty cool too. Wanna get out of the city? Hit Mt. Rainier and St. Helens. Or try a trip up the penninsula and visit Olympic Natl. Forest. Beautiful country up there. Above all, have a great time and enjoy the beautiful state that is Washington…and bring back lots of images. I'm horribly homesick! ;0)
yeah i think it's pretty set that I'll be driving
225+ gallons of gas will cost a bit but I'll get lots done and take tons of pictures and have some good experiences. I just have to handle brides not getting the rest of their pictures for 2-3wks longer. haha
Bridezillas!
That's got to be one of the great road trips ever done by man. If you detoured to Southern Utah, it definitely would be. Wow!
It would be awesome to shoot with you in yosemite, its nearly in my backyard! So drive!!!
Looks at map
Yep, Santa Cruz is on the way. See you soon +Scott Jarvie
+Jason Autry yosemite is on the possible chopping block but keep an eye out on my posts anything can happen and I might stick with the plan.
You have a place to stay if you come +Scott Jarvie, and it will not be your car.
I'm jealous!
If you're going by Yellowstone, check out Headwaters of the Yellowstone B&B.
For a perfect view of Mt Rainier, take the Crystal Mountain ski lift.
hoping you get many, many calls!!!
I would like to go to Seattle…
