+Michael Christoferson thanks. it's this series that got me into Youtube and this is the first one i've released.

I feel like I can teach a lot of the less common photography stuff in this unique method.

So I'm hoping my idea doesn't just sound good in my head only.

Nice shot mate. Love the tone of the blues you got here. Light on the sand is wonderful too. Just the right amount of smoothing from the exposure time too. The muted red tones of the bridge are the cherry on the cake… lovely. Very keen to, at some point this year, explore the idea of teaching some joint workshops with you…. somewhere.

I love how photos come together like this, one seemingly random occurrence after another. And I like how you're showing the process, so that people can see how a great photo is not always perfectly planned, but is often the last of a series of events and attempts in an organic process of accident and creativity. This, if anything, makes us appreciate the photo even more, knowing the stories behind them. :-)

  15. Casey Grimley says

Great photo and back story. Looking forward to more stories from 'The Adventures of Jarvie'

+Alfie Goodrich I actually really love teaching that part would be fun. Pulling the trigger, setting aside the time and doing the organization/business side is actually somewhat of a roadblock at times.

Awesome story and yes, you're right.  We can set aside the technicalities which are a given for anyone competent enough to wield a camera daily, but real photos have a story behind them… :)
