Well this couple was very into pictures (or should I say she was)
So we went to many different locations the morning of their wedding day.
we jumped from place to place, including but not limited to Memory Grove, the capitol and the JSMB
It was a lot of fun… but made it so I took and therefore had to edit tons of pictures…
From the over 400 pictures I selected a few of my faves.

Personally I’m digging the colors on this one.

It was a bit chilly and she wasn’t into the outdoors thing.
So we switched locations to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in downtown SLC right next to Temple Square.

She’s married now so I can show off her bridals – Check out the full gallery

Here’s a couple to embarrass her sisters… if that’s possible

JUST A FRACTION of GOODNESS
Just so you know this is just a fraction of the amazing pictures taken that day.
I’m doing this wedding in combination with another professional photographer Julie Harman
So imagine this list of pictures X2 because she also took just as many awesome pictures
I’m sure Julie will get around to posting some on her blog… and I’ll link it here when she does.
For a view of all the pictures from that day visit the SmugMug Gallery
A little explanation… They’re both College track stars
Her = U of U
Him = BYU
Here is just a glimpse of the shoot.
Many more good things are to come!
I just selected one … i haven’t even looked at a tenth of the pictures i took.
Reasons why the shoot was so good?
The couple was awesome to work with
And I worked in combination with another awesome photographer and it was a great great experience (One of those synergistic partnerships as discussed in my previous post)

Montage Beach in Laguna Beach area.
Note that most of the bridal pictures that day were taken at Soka University.
But the title of the post is beach bridals so I just added those (just the horizontal ones)

Ok so it’s just the coolest so far and that I’ve personally done.
And mostly cool because the results are pretty rockin’ as far as I see.
See a select gallery of about half the images I picked and edited…

And below I’ll throw on some thumbnails in case you don’t want to venture beyond the blog and see them bigger.
It helps to have such a good subject!
See my previous post for more on the subject of why it was such a good shoot.
See 40 thumbnails below – best to just go to gallery
The scenery at the Tahitian Noni Gardens was great!
The shade we had at around 6-7 was great!
The bride was gorgeous, that certainly helps!
The dress was very memorable (and I’ve seen a lot)!
The mom was helpful (even helped with the reflector!
It was laid back and fun and totally enjoyable!
The bride pulled off smiley and modelish wonderfully!
I’ve picked too many of the pictures so I’m trying to unpick some to make things more manageable editing process.
But in the meantime enjoy a preview.
I’ll add in my thoughts on some of the pictures I took for people that might be interested
Let me know if you like that.
At the end of the post (13 pictures down)
Is my favorite one… so make sure you see them all I guess.

She liked her shoes even though she never wore them because we couldn’t see them and they sank into the grass.

I showed some more serious kinds of poses in the last pose i thought I’d add a smile more usual to her.

I would think most girls would want pictures of themselves that look like they belong in some magazine. They buy those wedding magazines all the time anyway right
Well I did a few that way and she oblidged nicely.

Being 4 shoots behind I think I’ll just post a couple pictures that caught my attention as I sort through pictures.
Usually I wait until I’m done looking through all of them and then make sure I pick the best.
I thought I’d put up these two because she looks so very different in these pictures.
These two are a very different view of her… if you knew her you’d understand.
I hope to post a few more of her later so you can see what I’m talking about.
I did two photo shoots for them recently
Engagements
They liked the first set I did so much they wanted more. And she was sick for the first one so she wanted some while she was feeling better.
She also figured since I was doing a book for their reception and she was making a slideshow that some extra pictures for it all would be nice.
I think it went quite well
Thanks to Allyson for assisting on this photo shoot.

Bridals
The next day we went to thanksgiving point and took pictures for her bridals.
I get to post them because I know he’s seen her in the dress… because he came along.
I’d like to thank Dawnee who assisted on this photo shoot.
Thanksgiving point has lots of spots all over the park it always makes sense to get a golf cart and be nice to the people at the desk so they can let you stay after the front desk is already closed so you can get great lighting.
We kinda went overboard this evening and took Tons of pictures… but she loves them a ton so I suppose it works.
