Well this couple was very into pictures (or should I say she was)
So we went to many different locations the morning of their wedding day.
we jumped from place to place, including but not limited to Memory Grove, the capitol and the JSMB
It was a lot of fun… but made it so I took and therefore had to edit tons of pictures…
From the over 400 pictures I selected a few of my faves.

Personally I’m digging the colors on this one.

It was a bit chilly and she wasn’t into the outdoors thing.
So we switched locations to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in downtown SLC right next to Temple Square.

She’s married now so I can show off her bridals – Check out the full gallery

Here’s a couple to embarrass her sisters… if that’s possible

Montage Beach in Laguna Beach area.
Note that most of the bridal pictures that day were taken at Soka University.
But the title of the post is beach bridals so I just added those (just the horizontal ones)

I’ll add in my thoughts on some of the pictures I took for people that might be interested
Let me know if you like that.
At the end of the post (13 pictures down)
Is my favorite one… so make sure you see them all I guess.

She liked her shoes even though she never wore them because we couldn’t see them and they sank into the grass.

I showed some more serious kinds of poses in the last pose i thought I’d add a smile more usual to her.

I would think most girls would want pictures of themselves that look like they belong in some magazine. They buy those wedding magazines all the time anyway right
Well I did a few that way and she oblidged nicely.

Being 4 shoots behind I think I’ll just post a couple pictures that caught my attention as I sort through pictures.
Usually I wait until I’m done looking through all of them and then make sure I pick the best.
I thought I’d put up these two because she looks so very different in these pictures.
These two are a very different view of her… if you knew her you’d understand.
I hope to post a few more of her later so you can see what I’m talking about.
I did two photo shoots for them recently
Engagements
They liked the first set I did so much they wanted more. And she was sick for the first one so she wanted some while she was feeling better.
She also figured since I was doing a book for their reception and she was making a slideshow that some extra pictures for it all would be nice.
I think it went quite well
Thanks to Allyson for assisting on this photo shoot.

Bridals
The next day we went to thanksgiving point and took pictures for her bridals.
I get to post them because I know he’s seen her in the dress… because he came along.
I’d like to thank Dawnee who assisted on this photo shoot.
Thanksgiving point has lots of spots all over the park it always makes sense to get a golf cart and be nice to the people at the desk so they can let you stay after the front desk is already closed so you can get great lighting.
We kinda went overboard this evening and took Tons of pictures… but she loves them a ton so I suppose it works.

Julie and Christopher got married on a snowy day In Provo
For a part of the pictures snow was coming down pretty hard
Julie was tough and stuck through some rough weather as we rushed through some cool pictures…
In the end they turned out awesome and unique as a result.
It was a fun day and things worked out well.

Here’s some of them having fun in the snow storm
Taken accross from the Timpanogas Temple. I was so amazed at the amount of families that showed up while we were there to take pictures. There was at least 5 groups at one point and they were constantly coming and going.
One thing that amazed me about how many people came is that the light was less than good.
That is why I was very happy to have brought a friend and my new favorite toy… my 42″ reflector. It worked wonders and brought my editing time down so dramactically that I almost didn’t know what to do. I had my same impulses to touch up and make the pictures better and unique, but most of the time I was grasping at the air… as there was little to improve.
If you are listening and you are a photographer don’t put off buying a reflector as long as I did… get one now! (And get a good one)

Well for the first Photo Post I suppose I’ll do the most recent pictures.
Monday I went to thanksgiving point and spent a couple hours with Rachel and Andrew. They’ve already been married for a little while, but I suppose they just didn’t get wedding pictures taken when they got married.
So they dressed back up and even had a couple friends come. It was Andrew’s birthday present to Rachel and I thought that was very sweet. Afterwards he took her to a surprise birthday party and I stayed at Thanksgiving Point gardens taking pictures (which maybe I’ll get around to posting)
